Selfie Stick

On the way home from KC, I bought a selfie stick.  The next morning we tried it out.  Maggie is holding up her new Lego person key chain.

Kansas City Trip - Day 3 - Ikea and Home

The Blazer I borrowed from my parents was full by the time we left KC.

Jada lasted through Ikea; my girls got bored about half way through.  We ate lunch there and then drove back to Lincoln.  We stopped for supper before going home since we knew that would make unpacking much easier!

Kansas City Trip - Day 2 - Back at the Hotel

We tried taking our kids to the pool as a relaxing end to our day, but it started storming.  The hotel closed the pool 15 minutes after we got in.  So then us two introverted moms decided to let our kids play on their tablets so we could have some down time messing around on our own phones.

Funny headphone story from our trip:  Maggie got up before I did.  She got on her tablet which seemed noisy to me.  I said please use your headphones.  She answered that she was.  I looked over and told her she needed to plug her earphones into her tablet!  Amy pulled a pillow over her head to muffle her laughter!

Kansas City Trip - Day 2 - Sea Life

Sea Life was just as awesome as the Henry Doorly Zoo aquarium!

Kansas City Trip - Day 2 - Fritz's Railroad Restaurant

We left Lego Land and met up with Amy and Jada at Fritz's Railroad Restaurant for lunch.  It was pretty cool the way the trains on the wall delivered our food :-)

Kansas City Trip - Day 2 - LegoLand

The girls built a Lego house together.  To be honest, I got bored and just kept thinking we could play Legos at home for free!

I got the girls to leave Lego Land by promising one more ride and to buy them a new Lego set in the store.  I ended up buying a set for each of them!

Kansas City Trip - Day 2 - Crown Center

It was windy and chilly while we waited for LegoLand to open!

Kansas City Trip - Day 1 - Science City

Maggie loved the tube blowing air up that would suspend the ball in air.

Neither Mena nor Maggie were able to really get the "hamster wheel" moving.

I rode the bike on a tight rope.

Mena, Maggie, and Jada enjoyed the water table.

Mena was able to pull her chair up with the rope.

Maggie tried really hard, but her chair never left the ground.

Maggie was the first of the 3 girls to pull and tip the upright arm.
