Mena's and Ty's Birthday Party

We enjoyed a fun family gathering for all the fall birthdays.  Tyler is saving money to buy a PS4 so his gifts were cash.  Mena wanted to new bedding since she got her loft bed so Grandma and both aunts went in to buy sheets and a comforter that Mena loves!

Mowing

Mena wanted to try mowing.  She mowed and I was able to do the edging so the yard looks much better now.  She said she'd like to do it again.  While doing yard work, a neighbor came over to tell me how great he thought it was that my daughter was helping and that I've done a good job to keep the house looking nice.

Dancing at School

Maggie's teacher did a dance break during school and told me that Maggie really liked it!

First Day of School

Gene took the girls to school and when I picked them up from daycare, we went back to school to take pictures.  They were more excited to pose this year than in previous years and neither wanted their backpacks in the pictures.

Maggie's Faces

Maggie likes to video call me on Facebook Messenger.  She likes to play with the different faces that she can put on while we talk.  These two are her favorites.

Flexible

Mena and I can't believe how flexible Maggie is.  Mena tried to do the same thing and came pretty close; I didn't even try!

Puzzles

Maggie and I put together the Koala while Mena put the tower together by herself.  Fun family time on a Sunday afternoon.

Mena's Picture at the County Fair

Mena's picture earned a red ribbon at the county fair.  Hers is the picture right by her arm.  She threw some flowers into a pond and then took a picture of them.  The clouds are reflecting on the water surface.  A really nice picture!

More Helping Hands

Mena's favorite hands are the piano.  Maggie has fun posing at each set we visit.

Helping Hands with Grandma and Jake

I met with Pastor Nancy to talk about seminary while the girls stayed with Grandma.  Then we took the girls and Jake to see some of the Helping Hands.
