Pedicures by Maggie!

Maggie spoiled me one evening by getting out my foot bath.  She soaked and scrubbed my feet like would be done at a salon!  It felt especially good after being on my feet all day at the zoo.  Then she painted my toe nails and even gave me a star design!  She wanted me to post on Facebook that she would give pedicures to my friends for $10 each.

It's been 2 years since Briget and I have gotten together due to Covid-19.  We enjoyed the day with our kids at the zoo.  Philomena's favorite was the new baby giraffe!

 

Philomena Starts School

Gene sent me these pictures of Philomena when he dropped her off on her first day of school.  6th grade started on Monday, while 7th and 8th grade started on Tuesday.  She was thrilled!

 

Maggie Starts School

Maggie and Willa started school on the 16th.  Philomena and Gene sent me the pictures.

 

Day Before School Starts

After church we went for back to school pictures.  Maggie's first one she's telling me to hurry up because her hand is getting burned.  The second one she said, "I am smiling."  That girl cracks me up!  Philomena smiled beautifully.  This will be Maggie's last year at Kahoa (5th grade) and Philomena's second year at Mickle (7th grade).

 

Last Week of Swim Lessons

Philomena passed level 3 and Maggie passed level 4.  They enjoyed swim lessons and want to go back.  Unfortunately, we're back to school and don't have time for swim lessons.  Next year we'll continue!
