The squirrels liked the Jack O'Lanterns, too. They even left a heart in the side of the white pumpkin!

Jack O'Lanterns
The girls carved their pumpkins and set them out to decorate our front stairs.
Maggie also used an apple to make an owl in food art.

First Quarter's Band Concert
Philomena's band concert was how concerts used to be. Everyone still had to wear masks, but at least they could sit in the semi-circle that bands normally sit in. Every year the kids just keep getting better and better. I enjoyed the music. Her dad, step-sister Holly, Maggie and I were in attendance.

Roca Pumpkin Patch
We spent the morning at Roca Pumpkin Patch. Mena went through a haunted house while I stayed outside with Maggie. We walked through the corn maze. The girls enjoyed all the activities. They each picked out a large pumpkin, as well as some gourds and smaller pumpkins. Maggie then decorated her dresser with what she brought home.

7th and 8th graders were invited to play with the Northeast Marching Band as future Rockets. They sounded great and Philomena really enjoyed it. I see marching band in her future!
