Spark in July

I've only seen one picture so far this month, but Maggie seems to have made some good friends this summer at Spark.  Looks like this will be something that she does next summer also!

 

Grandma

My mom has been staying with Grandma for a month now to help her since she had eye surgery for her cataracts.  This was her first anniversary without Dad so I drove up to Fremont to deliver flowers and candy from us girls and our families.  She was definitely surprised thanks to my making plans with Uncle Jim behind her back :)

 

Gardening

Due to my foot surgery, I didn't get the plants in the ground when they should have.  I bought 3 plants late in the season.  The zucchini plant and the watermelon vine are each slowly growing.  I hope we get some produce late in the season.
