Sleeping

No wonder Mena occasionally falls out of bed. She's a heavy sleeper and didn't even wake up when the flash went off.

End of June

The girls made star necklaces to prepare for the 4th of July. The weather's been hot but nice so we've spent a lot of time outside.

Balancing on Knees

Maggie will now hold herself on her hands and knees when I put her in this position. She's beginning to rock forward and back when I sit her like this.

Cuddling in Bed

June 25th, 2011, Maggie slept til 8:30 am! All of us slept until 8:30 am and then the girls cuddled with Mommy in bed while Daddy went for his coffee.

Traven's Last Day

Mena, Ky, Traven, and I made cookies for Traven's last day in my daycare. He's moving to a larger daycare where there are more kids to play with. I want to expand my daycare but I can't do that right now since Maggie is so young. Babies are a lot of work. I'm advertising for another toddler/preschooler to join us. Then I plan to apply for my state license and expand after Maggie turns a year old.

Chariot

Our Bible story was when Philip talks to the man from Ethiopia. I had the kids paint a chariot. While Mena pretended to be the man from Ethiopia, Traven and Ky pretended to be Philip. Philip said, "Jesus loves you." Then the man said, "I love Jesus." They were great actors!
