In the morning Maggie went to daycare while I took Mena miniature golfing. I totally forgot to take pictures; we had sweat just running down us because it was so HOT! In the afternoon, Mena went to daycare and I took Maggie swimming at Star City Shores.

Lost in Fun
The girls now enjoy Lost in Fun (as compared to their being overwhelmed). The only problem is that we drive 30 minutes to get there, they play for an hour, and then we drive home 30 minutes. It's a nice indoor option when it's unbearably hot.

July 3rd Fireworks
Peg, Jon, and Jake came for supper and fireworks at our house. Maggie crashed on my lap around 11 pm. Mena and Jake were still going strong at 12:30 am when Peg and Jon decided to leave.
Mena Cleaning
Mena did something so I sent her to her room. When I came to talk to her, I asked what she thought she should do to make up for the thing she'd done that hurt me. She decided to clean my bathroom. Then she decided to clean her bathroom too since we had company coming that night.

Caboose at Two Rivers SRA
Since we sold the camper, I decided to try the cabooses at Two Rivers. On-line you have to book 2 nights at a time and it costs just as much as a hotel. I looked at the openings and found a cabin with just one night open between two other bookings. I called into the reservation line and they approved me to book for one night. We liked the cabin. I ended up pulling a mattress to the floor between the bunkbeds because neither girl wanted to sleep on the top bunk and they kept giggling rather than falling asleep when I was on top.
Grandma and Grandpa came to eat supper with us. After supper we went to the playground. The next morning we could have stayed for a couple hours, but just wanted to get home since it was so hot out. (The cabin did have a/c but we didn't have much to do in the cabin but pack up.)

Shakespeare on the Green
The girls and I went to Shakespeare on the Green with Beth Zager. It started to sprinkle, but we stuck it out and enjoyed "The Merry Wives of Windsor."
