Sisterly Love

Mandarin oranges and cherry tomatoes are two of the girls' favorite foods.  Maggie has to sit on the chair with the booster seat, but Mena can choose where to sit each meal.  She used to want to sit next to me, but lately she wants to sit next to her sister more.

Spring Break

My Spring Break project was to finish decorating the girls' bedroom.  The curtains were about 5" too short for the window in our new apartment so I sewed a matching valance.  I am so glad I saved the piece I cut off the bottom 2 years ago!  I had leftover paint from painting Mena's bedroom at the house before Maggie was born.  I used the paint to paint her dresser and then I found butterfly stickers at Wal-mart on clearance so we added those to decorate the dresser and walls of the room.  I also changed the handles so she could get a hold of them easier to open by herself.

Play Date with Aurora

Parent Night was cancelled at church so I invited Angie, Ryan, and Aurora to our house for the evening.  We had dinner around my "new" table.  (Gene's girlfriend moved in and they decided to use her table so I got the nice wood table with 6 chairs from him since I can fit it in our new apartment.  I'm so happy to have my table back!)  Then the girls played.  Children are our entertainment in life!

Tricycles

 

 

It was too wet from the rain to play on the playground, but the girls could ride their trikes on the side walk.  They both are getting better at pedaling.  At the end they decided to just pull the trikes back to the apartment because they were tired of trying to push the pedals with their feet.

Gene sent me these two pictures in two text messages.  After the first one, I was pondering why he sent me a picture of a Green Bay football player.  Then I got the second picture and laughed at the girls' imitation!
