Philomena - Winter Band Concert

Philomena had a speaking part in a song about Kwanzaa during one of the songs.  Maggie sat on the floor on the edge of the aisle and zoomed in to get pictures of Mena under the flute players arms; I save a few just to show the determination that Maggie had!  The band sounded great playing a variety of songs, including some for the holidays in December!

I found this mug on clearance and bought it for myself to drink my hot cocoa.  Philomena rolled her eyes when I showed her!  Hahaha

The 7th grade choir sounded great!

 

Maggie - Chorus Concert

Maggie's 5th grade choir sounded great.  One of the students has a deaf mother so she signed all the songs while they were singing.  All the kids learned to sign one of the songs.  The grandma went up to each kid and thanked them for putting the work into learning the signs for the song.

 

Philomena's Tree

Philomena's room is bigger so she got the medium sized tree to set up in her room.  Where did this grown up Mena come from?!?  Where did my little girl go?!?

 

Maggie's tree

Maggie is very proud of her little tree in her bedroom.  She hid under the table when she didn't want me to see what she was making.
