The girls loved having Grandma go with us to see Santa. Mom and I appreciated having Dad drop us off and pick us up at the front gate since it was so freezing cold out. First we took a train ride around the zoo, then we walked down candy cane lane to the building where Santa was. Last year we stood in line outside for an hour; this year we walked right into the building and waited maybe 10 minutes to talk to Santa. The girls hand delivered their letters to Santa and told them they wanted a doll house. I was amazed at how brave they were to sit on Santa's lap for our picture! We then visited the bug house before going to a different building where the girls could decorate their own cookie and we all had hot cocoa. The girls didn't drink their cocoa while Mom and I burned our tongues on it. We saw three trees outside decorated for Christmas and last we went in the Animal Kingdom building. We were very glad for the 4 different buildings to be inside for the event.
