Mena's Curtains

Mena received curtains for her bedroom for Christmas, but one had black spots on it.  The replacement came and her room is now finished!

 

Maggie's Bedroom - Mom's Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve, we finished all of our celebrating so I told the girls they could go to their dad's earlier than planned.  Maggie was able to pick out a color from her new bedding set and I was able to go buy the paint and supplies to paint her room.  On Christmas day, I woke up with nothing to do and decided to get started.  I was able to move furniture, tape, prime, and paint the walls during the day.  In the evening I was able to put the room back together and put the new bedding on her bed.  She loves it! She is bummed that she has to wait until Valentine's Day to put the LOL doll stickers up on her walls.  I wait the paint to cure so it lasts a long time!
 

Frye Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we gathered with my family wearing masks.  We chose to not eat any foods so we wouldn't expose each other to any germs from our respective schools/homes.  It was a shorter than usual gathering but it was good to see everyone in person rather than over zoom!

Dad got a propane tank cover for their camper.  Mom got dishes and really laughed when she read the t-shirt Beth got her that says "pew pew pew" which is the sound effect we always tease her about!  The kids loved all their gifts.  All of us girls got towel sets for the holidays/seasons of the year; we were excited for our own set because Mom always does that as a wedding gift for our cousins but we didn't ever get a set.  Good time for us all to get new towels!

 

Christmas Eve at Mom's House

Mena's favorite gift was her ring light.  She's been practicing vlogging "for when she grows up."  She was also excited for the new curtains for her bedroom.  Unfortunately, one of the panels had black spots on it so we are waiting for the replacement to come.  Maggie loved the new marble game and LOL doll.  Both girls were excited for new earrings and bracelets.  I also fit remote control cars in the bottom of their stockings!  The girls got me a Wonder Woman hitch cover that I love!  Mena made us matching bracelets, also.
