Maggie applied, interviewed, and was chosen to be a part of the Spark Crew this summer. Spark is a day camp for K-5th grades. Middle Schoolers were chosen to be teacher assistants. The first day she came home she told me, "Mom, these kids are running all over and not listening and I am so tired!" Welcome to my life as a teacher, kiddo! I laughed and empathized. She's had a great time and I'm seeing growth in her leadership skills and her maturity.
