Maggie's Organized Room

Due to Maggie's ADHD and her getting distracted when she should be getting ready in the morning, I moved Maggie to the smaller bedroom.  I took away her dresser and bought a bunch of plastic caddies so each drawer has only one kind of clothing item.  She's doing much better with no toys/books/games in her room.

The girls had another great year at VBS.  These are from the program and carnival on the last night.

Maggie's New Lawn Chair

I sold all the kid sized lawn chairs and ordered Maggie a new adult sized lawn chair.  She picked the color and was thrilled when it arrived.

Mena's Girl Scout End of Year Party

The troop had a family pot luck where Mena was awarded her last badges of the year.  They played water games including all their siblings, but Maggie didn't want to participate.

Last Camping Trip in Truck Camper

We enjoyed camping at Louisville, but the camper seems a lot smaller now that the girls are getting bigger and we don't like being stuck at the camp site.  When I had a tent, we'd drive other places during the day.  Being stuck at Louisville meant that we'd done everything we wanted to do by the time we'd slept two nights there.  We were scheduled a third night but left before lunch.

I sold the truck and camper to reduce expenses.  The money sits in the bank until we decide what I/we want to do next.  I sure don't want to go back to a tent with no a/c!
