I had a few bags of mulch spread in the swingset area and the girls and I went to Walmart for me to buy more. Then after the girls went to their dad's I went again to Walmart. By the time I'd recovered the swingset area and around the 3 trees, I'd bought 110 bags. 98 of those I spread on one day!

Backyard Camping
We set up the camper in the backyard this week. We ate a few meals in it and the girls played in it. Then on Friday night, we slept in it. It was cold so I plugged it into electricity with an extension cord and I turned on the propane so we'd have heat overnight.

Face Masks
Covid-19 is a respiratory illness that you spread before you know you have it, so we're being asked to wear masks to prevent the unintentional spread. There is a shortage of masks for the medical workers, let alone have any left for the average person. Norwex did a test and their window cloth catches 60% of .4 micron particles which makes it a good personal mask. They aren't for order yet but I cut up one of my cloths to make masks. I only have 1 store bought mask left from mowing last year. I try to remember to wear my mask when I have to go into a store.
Food Budget
My grocery budget has gone up since we're home all day now. On this day, I made 20 blueberry muffins in the morning. By supper time there were only 5 left!
Social media has a bunch of memes about how everyone is eating more and their grocery budgets are way up. There's also been a shortage of hand soap and toilet paper. It's crazy. It's not like we're going into a bunker due to a nuclear attack. We can still regularly go to the store to get what we need, and yet people are hoarding toilet paper!
Egg Hunt
Due to the Coronavirus, Gene and I agreed to as little transitions as possible. We're doing 7 & 7 and we're both keeping the girls at home. I suggested we put my Easter time with my week rather than switching houses multiple times during one weekend. I hid the eggs in the yard on Friday morning when it was 20-something degrees outside. The chill didn't seem to bother them!

Rosemont "Egged" Us!
We didn't see anyone come to our yard so we were surprised and the girls were excited to have an egg hunt. Rosemont was so thoughtful to do this for us. The girls haven't been to daycare since before Spring Break and won't go back until I'm working in the school building again which won't be until fall. Maggie was so excited by the He has Risen! egg that she explained to me twice why that one didn't have any candy!
