Mulch

This year the girls helped me with mulch around the house and garden.  We spread 80 bags of brown mulch in the garden area and 30 bags of black mulch around the perimeter of the house.  Philomena and I were each able to fit 20 bags of mulch in our cars so we only had to make 3 trips to Walmart!  Maggie helped me plant some new hostas that I bought to replace ones that had died and I planted bell peppers, zucchini, butternut squash, cantaloupe, cucumbers, and tomatoes in the garden.  Now to watch it grow (and pull weeds)!
