Grandma and Philomena spent NYE with me at home. I made a chicken pot pie using the original recipe with all the goodness of full sodium and full fat! It turned out delicious. We wanted to watch the ball drop in NYC but had trouble getting the channel to come in until I stacked 4 game boxes under the antenna.
Maggie spent NYE with friends. She texted asking me to pick her up early. Maggie got into the car and told me that she decided it was time to go when someone pulled out weed gummies. She said that all the kids were in the backyard and the parents were in the house when this happened. I told her that she made a wise decision in that moment! She said she had fun at the party the rest of the evening.
