Palm Sunday

The girls waved Palm branches in church and sang with their Cherub Choir.  I took the girls shopping for new Easter dresses and they chose the same kind of dress, although not matching this time.

Oops, Lost Tooth in the Chocolate Bunny

We didn't realize that Mena's tooth was loose.  She took a bite of her solid chocolate bunny and somehow swallowed her tooth with the chocolate!  She didn't feel anything in the chocolate, but we never found it!

Easter Bunny on Palm Sunday

The Easter Bunny knew the girls would be at their dad's for most of Easter so he came to our house on Palm Sunday.  Amazing that there were enough quarters in the hidden eggs so they could buy the new purple lawn chairs they wanted for camping.  I had already bought the chairs and they were going to earn them so I traded their quarters for the lawn chairs right then, like they wanted :)

Easter Eggs

Maggie discovered the excitement of writing with a white crayon this year!  Mena was more into using the white crayon since she and Maggie were comparing their invisible drawings.

Maggie's Tired

Maggie was so tired that she curled up next to my sewing box on the couch and fell asleep while I was getting supper ready!

Circus

We went to the Circus with my group of moms that used to work together at St. Mark's.  Wow, how we've grown from 5 women to 5 moms with all these kids!!  Three of the hubbies also joined us for this gathering.

Picnic in the Park

One of the things we did over spring break was to go to Union Plaza city park for a picnic and to play on the playground.  For the first time, the girls climbed up to the slide without my climbing up with them.  I stood below and told them where to put their feet the first time they went up.  Then they did it over and over by themselves!
