Officially 13!

The day of Maggie's birthday, Philomena wanted her to have something on her birthday.  We stopped at Walgreens and Philomena chose Mini-Brands convenience store and one ball of mini's.  It should work with their doll house.  Philomena paid for 2/3 of it with her own babysitting money!  Maggie wasn't thrilled when we sang happy birthday to her while Philomena brought in the gift.  She was excited for what Philomena picked out.  While they put the store together, I made Chuckwagon Chili Mac as requested by Maggie.  We had apple crisp for dessert.

 

New Hairstyle

During marching band, they are required to have their hair off their necks, and up on top of their head under the hat. Philomena was wanting a new hairstyle, but waited till the final marching band event was over. She went for a shorter in back than front and had it thinned out. There was a lot of hair on the floor!
 

Happy 13th Birthday, Maggie!

Maggie chose grilled hamburgers for lunch so we celebrated at Grandma’s house so Uncle Jon could grill all the burgers together. She chose apple crisp and ice cream for dessert. We all went in together and bought Magic: the Gathering cards so she got a starter set, an expansion set & a land set. The kids enjoyed playing together while eating their dessert. 
 

Veterans Day Parade

 Lincoln High School marching band was the lead band in the parade and played the Star Spangled Banner. Philomena helped carry the flag in front of the band.
