Pheobe is Growing!

I now have 2 baby gates up in my kitchen so Pheobe can run around and play.  She is learning to ring the bells to tell me when she needs to go out.  Her favorite toys are ones that squeak or crinkle.  She's not very good at catching things I throw to her, but she's getting the hang of fetch.  Five times in a row, she returned the pink stick to me.  When she gets hot and tired, she lays or sits on the register to feel the air conditioning.  Mena is able to do what I taught her so Pheobe listens to Mena almost as well as she listens to me.  Maggie likes Pheobe when Pheobe is in her kennel and can't nip or jump on her.

Mena's Family Birthday Party

Our family gathered at our house to celebrate the birthdays of Mena Tyler, Peg, Jon Tim, and me.  The kids had a lot of fun playing and the adults had fun talking.  Tyler blew out his candles with no problem, but it took a bit for Mena to get her last one out!

First Day of School

With my new job in a preschool classroom, I was not allowed to come in late to work on the first day.  Their dad and step-mom took pictures in the park before school started.  Presley's mom got the picture of Mena with Presley and Tessa.  After school I took the girls back to take pictures by the Kahoa sign like we've done in the past.  It actually was nicer to not have the sun in their eyes and no waiting for other families to get done taking their pictures!

Camping

We spent the weekend camping at Louisville with Grandma, Papa, Tim, Beth, Peyton, Tyler, Peg, Jon, Jake, and the three of us.  Pheobe enjoyed her first weekend camping!  I never thought to take any pictures while relaxing with everyone.  Aunt Beth got this picture of a frog on Mena's arm.
