Maggie spoke loud and clear when she read the Bible passage during church.  So proud of her!

 

Decorating for Christmas

We put the big tree in the living room and Philomena put the small tree in her bedroom.  In the afternoon, we did a little shopping.  Walgreens, Walmart & Sam's Club were normal busy.  Hobby Lobby was crazy busy.  The amazing part of the Thanksgiving holiday was that the girls got along for the majority of the weekend!  No arguing or meltdowns!  The girls spent Friday evening and Saturday celebrating Thanksgiving at their dad's house.

 

Happy Thanksgiving!

Grandma ate Thanksgiving lunch with Grandpa and then we visited around 3 pm.  He was having a good day, talking with us, and walking around the house with his walker.  We then had Thanksgiving dinner at Pastor Kirstie's house.  The girls had fun hanging out with the other kids from church and I was able to visit with my friends.

 

First Pets Service

We took Emilia and Desdemona to the First Pets Service this month.  It was Maggie's turn to speak and she chose the topic of good and bad breeders.  She did well!

 

Happy Birthday, Maggie!

Maggie invited 3 friends to her birthday.  One couldn't make it.  The second one got sick and couldn't come.  Macie was able to make it, but got homesick and left around 9:30 rather than sleeping over.  Maggie covered her eyes while we were singing happy birthday to her.  Macie gave her some art supplies.  I gave her a new fuzzy blanket during the party.  The next morning I gave her a card with money in it and she was totally surprised.  Philomena invited Riley over so Carrie and I were able to visit also.

 

Scripture Reader

Philomena did a great job reading scripture in church!  She spoke clearly and confidently so we could all understand her.

 

Family Birthday Party

Maggie gets a whole month of celebrating her birthday!  Grandma, Beth, Tyler, Peg, Jon and Jake visited for the afternoon to celebrate.  We had tacos for lunch.  Maggie made a 2-layer cake and I decorated it for her.  Cake and ice cream tasted great.  She was very excited for new doll clothes, a doll crib, and a Minnie Mouse pillow.  All my nephews are officially taller than me!
