Maggie's Girl Scouts -- Cookie Party

Maggie's troop had a tea party to celebrate the success of their first cookie sales.  The boxes on the table are all going to service men and women.

Kali Play Date

The next day there was no school so Kali spent it at our house rather than the girls going to daycare.  Back to the same climbing tree as yesterday! This is at the small playground near our house.

Happy Easter -- Burn off the Sugar!

Happy Easter -- At Grandma's and Grandpa's

Happy Easter -- At Home

None of my pictures turned out of them finding the eggs hidden in the living room.  This was the best picture of them with all the loot and it's not that great either!  Oh well.

Easter Egg Hunt

I took the girls to the Easter egg hunt at the church their daycare is in.  The pastor did a short Bible lesson and then broke the kids into age groups.  I went with Maggie to her group's egg hunt.  Mena said she'd go by herself since she's bigger.  I think we'll go to this again next year.  I appreciated the egg hunt being tied into the resurrection of Jesus rather than just a hunt for candy.

Decorate Eggs

Jada and Amy came to decorate eggs with us for Easter.

Boss Baby

I took the girls to see Beauty and the Beast.  Neither of them liked it--"too scary!"  So I took them to Boss Baby; lots bigger smiles for this movie.

Maggie has ADHD

At parent-teacher conferences, Maggie's teacher shared with us that she frequently gets to the end of writing time and has nothing on her paper.  Gene found out in the last year that he has ADD so we took Maggie to Dr. Bernhardson.  Gene, Mrs. Peterson, and I answered questionnaires.  Looking at all three, Dr. B diagnosed Maggie with ADD also.

Swinging

We went to the small playground near our park.  Both girls can now start their own swings.

Pigs in a Blanket

I left the pigs in a blanket to cool in the kitchen.  When I came back, one was missing!

Laundry

I asked Mena to strip her bed so we could wash the sheets and blankets.  I failed to tell her where to put the dirty sheets; she chose to block her doorway and climb over them.  She didn't understand why I was laughing.

Maggie was very helpful in getting everything out of the dryer for me!
