Camp Fontanelle

Both girls spent June 19-24 at Camp Fontanelle's Girls Only camp.  Pastor Caity took a group from our church.  The Outdoor picture is when they were dropped off and the inside picture is when I was picking them up.  The picture of Philomena's shirt and back are to show how someone signed their name on her shirt and the marker bled through to her skin and created a smile under two freckles to make a smily face!  I was putting aloe on her sunburn when I discovered it.  I laughed and had to take a picture because Philomena didn't believe me at first.

 

Roasted Veggies

I roasted some fish and veggies.  The girls were less than thrilled!  The fish was ok but they gagged while trying the veggies.  I thought both turned out well.  I'm trying to plan healthier meals, but so far the results are mixed!  Haha

 

Picnic

The girls did the usual Saturday morning cleaning and then we got Burger King for lunch.  My energy is good and my body is healing well.  I was able to take the girls to JoAnn's to spend the money they earned.  They picked out sewing supplies to create their own sewing boxes.  We ran a few more errands and then back home for me to put my feet up in the recliner for a rest.

 

Reading

Maggie gets into a good book and reads for hours at a time.  Comfort can be found in many positions during that time!
