Shopping with Birthday Money - Philomena

Philomena learned about shopping on a budget with the gift cards she received for her birthday.  Part of her spending went toward this new shower curtain and matching rugs.  She also bought a matching bath towel and some art supplies.

Mom's Bedroom

I painted my bedroom over Labor Day weekend.  For my birthday, my parents gave me money to buy a frame for the photo I took of Scottsbluff.  Philomena thought the paint made my room darker, but I find it very relaxing!  I love my reading nook.

 

Tyler & Philomena's Birthdays

On September 11th, we gathered at Mom and Dad's house to celebrate Tyler's and Philomena's birthdays.  For her 13th birthday, we all went in together to buy her a Garmin smart watch.  She was very excited, but she'd pretty much figured out that was what she was getting because I asked so many questions about what kind of watch she wanted.  Oh well! Haha

Philomena decided to try volley ball this fall.  She's on the 7th grade Team C and enjoying learning something new!  These pictures are from her first game.  Moore Middle School won 2 games and Mickle Middle School won 1.

 

Philomena's Friend Birthday Party

Adi and Riley came over on Friday evening for Raising Cane's supper, Cake, and time to just hang out together.  There were lots of giggles and laughter throughout the evening.  They didn't spend the night due to the VB game the next morning.

 

How do you brush your teeth?

I've never laid down on the floor to brush my teeth, but Philomena was very tired and did just that!  How she didn't choke is beyond me!
