Wonder Woman Seat Cover

I bought material and made the seat cover for Maggie's seat to fit the wider shoulder area and replaced the ripped material by the seatbelt fastener.  It looks so nice again!

Missing Scarf

The scarf that was missing all winter was found in Maggie's closet!  This is what happens when she organizes by color instead of by season and when she shoves so many things in her closet that I can't find anything.  We're cleaning up Maggie's room and finding so many interesting things she thought she'd lost.

Jumping in Puddles

The girls told me they were going to go jump in puddles after the rain.  Looks to me like they took a mud bath!  They tried to come inside and I sent them back out to hose off first!!

End of School Year

We turned in Mena's school books and brought a close to her elementary years.  The PTO paid for the yard signs and the teachers put them up in all the 5th graders' yards.  Maggie has finished 3rd grade.  

Backyard Camping

With Covid-19, the campgrounds have not been open.  We're backyard camping with our own little pool.  We have a new smaller frig so I don't have to keep lifting one off the floor.  The girls put up the small pool to play in.  Mena is now as tall as it is wide!  Water was cold but they enjoyed it.

Mother's Day

Mother’s Day with my girls. Tri-Ominos game ended looking like a flower! We also went on the bike path by Antelope Park for a walk. We picked up La Paz for supper and ate with my parents. It was nice to visit and be with Mom on Mother's day. No hugs when we left.

Funny story for Mother's Day: Maggie was ready to leave and carried my purse and keys to the car. She came back inside empty handed. I told her to bring me my purse and keys. She leaves and comes back empty handed again. "Mom, I accidentally locked your keys in the car." "There's a safety feature so you can't do that. Go check all the doors." Back she comes telling me that all the doors are locked because she turned on the radio and then climbed out her back door. "You turned the radio on?!?!" Dad had to drive me back to my house to get my spare keys. So glad they live in Waverly and that didn't happen in Yutan! Maggie says she won't do that again.

Sewing Another Pillow Cover

Maggie finished sewing her pillow cover and it turned out even better than her first one.  She was so proud of it!  She put it over the couch pillow in the living room and then moved it to Mena's bedroom.

Safari Zoo

The Safari Zoo was much less crowded this time.  The animals were really close to our car!

Maggie Creativity

Maggie saw a car freshener that glued pom poms to a clothes pin and then put essential oils on the poms.  She chose Peace and Tea Tree.  The clothespins have yet to make it into the car.
