Snuggles

Tuesday evening I was dozing on the couch when I felt a child climb on me and lay down.  Maggie said she wanted to read and be close to me.  I felt loved and snuggled into dozing some more.

Christmas Tree

We started the month by putting up our Christmas tree.

Boxes Spark Creativity

The box Maggie's bean bag chair came in was cut to be a castle.  The girls wrote a play.  Mena typed it and printed them each a copy.  They changed clothes to fit their roles and put make-up on, including mascara.  Then I was invited downstairs to watch their play.  They did a great job!  Love their creativity!!

Family Birthday Party

Maggie wasn't quite sure what to think when all she got was 3 birthday cards.  Then a box was brought in and she found the bean bag chair for her bedroom.  There was a second one in the car so when she has friends over they can sit comfortably in her bedroom, just like her big sister can do with her friends!

Friend Birthday Party

Friday night, Maggie had a birthday party.  Emily and Evelyn came for supper.  Josslyn came for an hour when we had cake and ice cream.  Emily spent the night.  They all played well together and I heard lots of laughter.

Happy Birthday, Maggie!

The morning of Maggie's birthday, I had a small game for Maggie's gift because she had received the loft bed early.  She spent the evening with her dad.

Serving at Matt Talbot

Mena's Youth Group at St Paul UMC served supper at Matt Talbot.  She helped make the food and then served the goulash onto the plates.
