Maggie's Birthday

We were off school for Maggie's birthday this year.  I whispered in her ear, "Do you want to open your birthday presents?" and she woke up really fast.  She loved her new doll and doll loft bed.  She braided her doll's hair and had me take a picture to show how their hair color matches.  Allergy shots and Allo being installed wasn't very exciting for the morning, but in the afternoon we went to Runza for lunch.  I drove 25 minutes across town to the only Runza with a play place to find out that both girls are now too tall and it was too crowded for me to let them break the rules.  After lunch we went to the new Scheels where the girls posed as a football player and Maggie kept calling it baseball.  You can tell we are not a sports family!  Mena enjoyed the animal heads hanging on the walls, but Maggie would only walk the mail aisles because she didn't like standing under the animals.  We then took Pheobe to the new dog park near our house.  Pheobe behaved well and all four of us had fun!
