Mena and Holly went to a cheer camp at Northeast High School on Saturday afternoon and then performed at half time of the varsity boys basketball game. It was nice to be able to sit in the stands with Maggie between Gene and I, and Jess on the other side of Gene. Both made pleasant conversation with me. We think Maggie was nervous being around the high schoolers. I took her to the bathroom 3 times during the first quarter and in high school a quarter is only 8 minutes!! Mena is only 3 months older than Holly, but she is a lot taller! Holly is more outgoing and I think Mena was more comfortable knowing she was with her. Mena did a great job on the dance and cheers in front of the basketball crowd!
