While home with Maggie sick, I had an interesting conversation with Maggie.
Maggie: Phobe got me in the nuts.
Mom: In the nuts?
Maggie: You know, in my crotches.
Mom: You don't have nuts.
Maggie: I don't?
Mom: No, only boys do. And you only have on crotch, not crotches.
An anatomy lesson followed to clarify boy and girl body parts and what slang words are used for which body parts. Grandma, Aunt Peg, and Aunt Beth found it funny. I texted her dad and he was confused. I more explicitly told him about our conversation to which he responded, "Good lord. She's getting a well-rounded education at Kahoa." Raising kids is never boring!
