July 3rd we went to a party at Jamie's house. When I started the truck to leave Mena yelled, "Oh no! We can't have lights in the truck! The policeman says no lights!" I told her it was ok to have her glow bracelets in the truck and that we wouldn't get in trouble.
On the 4th Mena surprised me by tying my shoe all by herself. We did puzzles together, played games, went to the park, and the girls made colored pasta necklaces. Then as all children do they complained that I wasn't playing with them when I sat down to read a magazine! It was a very relaxing day at home!
