Taking Care of Her Family

In the top picture you can kind of see the pile of toys to the right of Maggie's head. Mena wants to make sure that Maggie always has toys to play with. I explained to Mena that Maggie can't pick up her toys yet and that I just set them out so Maggie can look at them. After that Mena started piling all the baby toys she could reach around Maggie's head. Sometimes if she can't find "enough" baby toys then she starts giving Maggie some of her toys!

In the bottom picture Mena was using Daddy's ear buds like a stethoscope to listen to my heart. Her imaginary play has really developed into the stage that just about anything can become something else in her play.
