Our a/c broke so we spent all morning of May 11th in the backyard. We even ate lunch outside since it was cooler outside than the house was. The kids acted like they'd hit the jackpot! The next day was cooler (thank goodness!) and we were able to play inside. The a/c was fixed on the 12th so it wasn't a big deal. We laughed that right after it got fixed the highs were in the 60's.
