I swapped out the side of the crib with the small railing to turn it into a toddler bed for Maggie. The rail doesn't seem very tall, but it must be enough to stop her from rolling out. She's never fallen out of bed at my house. Gene said she's rolled out of bed a few times at his house but she just climbs back into bed and goes back to sleep like it's no big deal. Maggie likes the freedom that she can get out of bed herself. I like it that when she wakes up, she now just walks into my room to let me know rather than screaming "Mom!" until I wake up and get her out of the crib. This way she's not waking up Mena when she gets up.
